WHY IS MEMBERSHIP IMPORTANT?

• Membership helps the staff to identify the people in whom we can trust to lead and care for others.
• Membership identifies that a person has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and that he/she is willing to go public with that faith through baptism.
• Membership identifies that a person is willing to support this ministry with their time, talents and treasure and to be held accountable to the values of NBCOG.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE A MEMBER IN ORDER TO BE IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE at New Beginnings?

Because of what membership represents, members are the most qualified people to be in a leadership position. Often, if people are not willing to be held accountable, to go public with their faith through baptism, or to commit to leading people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, it can be an indication that they are not ready to lead others within the church environments.

WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP INDICATE?

Partnering with the church helps lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Members can draw great satisfaction from knowing that they are instrumental in leading others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Those people who want to join the church seem to understand the paradigm shift of "What do I get?" to "What can I give?"

WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES TO JOIN THE CHURCH?

• Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A willingness to follow Christ in Baptism
• Being willing to support this ministry with time, talents and treasure, and being willing to be held accountable to the church in matters concerning relationship to God and to others.

how do i become a member?

To become a member of New Beginnings Church of God, you must complete our membership class, New Beginnings 101.

If you would like to become a member of New Beginnings or would like to know more about our Team Philosophy and our approach to ministry, we encourage you to attend the 4 week course.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN A SMALL GROUP, BUT AT THE MOMENT I AM BETWEEN GROUPS. CAN I STILL JOIN THE CHURCH?

Yes, but we encourage you to re-engage in community as soon as possible. Check out our Small Groups page to find out how.

KFC

WORSHIP FOR Kindergarten - 5th grade

Kids For Christ is offered during our regular worship times on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s in the KFC Studio. Each week, K-5th graders will explore Bible lessons in a movie studio atmosphere. We want our young people to be excited about what a life with Christ offers. Learn-Follow-Lead: Once a young person learns what it means to follow in Christ’s footsteps, they will be able to lead others to do the same.

Lights, Camera, Action!

We want our young people to be excited about what a life with Christ offers. Each week, the K-5th graders will explore Bible lessons in a movie studio atmosphere.

The studio will be open Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 am, 6:00 pm, and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm

CRITTER LAND

WORSHIP FOR NEWBORNS THROUGH PRE-K

Critter Land is where our preschoolers will learn about the love of God through puppets and activities. They will meet critter friends who will help them learn what the Bible says. We will use their natural curiosity to explore God’s word in a fun and joyful environment. Critter Land meets in rooms 3, 4, and 5 located in the fellowship hall during our regular Sunday and Wednesday services.

This is an age where children need a healthy image of God as a Father who loves them no matter what.

The Bible lessons in our new curriculum show that God responds to our needs with love and kindness. By now, you have discovered how curious your little one is about his or her surroundings. New Beginnings wants to embrace that curiosity with scenery, puppets, and activities that will present the Word of God in a way that they will get excited about.

They will be introduced to such critter friends as Looney Bird, who with the help of the trainers, and the children, will be able to solve a problem according to what the Bible says.

Critter Land will be open Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30 am, 6:00 pm, and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
